About Samurai
The Company was born from a passion for great kits. When our Managing Director Terry Sands set about finding kit for his Samurai International Rugby Sevens teams’ debut at the Amsterdam Sevens back in 1996 nothing he found matched his expectations, so he designed the kit himself and the Samurai Sportswear brand was born.
Worldwide growth
The Samurai name has grown ever since taking custom made performance teamwear to the next level. Today we produce innovative and unique ideas to create a style completely individual to you and our kits are worn worldwide by clubs, associations, schools, colleges and universities, from grass roots to international level.
Sporting prowess
The variety of sports has also grown as we lead the way in kit design. From our own factory in China we manufacture high quality teamwear for almost every sport, including rugby shirts, cricket whites, netball dresses, basketball jerseys, football kits and hockey tops, amongst others. The Samurai logo on those garments guarantees the same standards as it always has done – inspirational kits in eye catching and unique designs, with immaculate finishing and styling details worthy of a premium brand.

Having our own factory means that not only can we control the highest levels of product quality in the industry, it allows us to be at the cutting edge of production techniques using the most technically advanced moisture management fabrics available. With built in moisture dissipation, climate regulation and air channelling technologies our kits are built to perform, as well as look good.
